Mosquitoes are one of those tiny and pesky parasites which feed on human blood for their survival. Their bites are not only itchy but dangerous as well as they can spread diseases such as dengue fever and malaria. The tell-tale signs of these parasites' bites are itching and pale red bumps on your skin. These bumps can even take days to get healed. It is not actually the "bite" of the mosquito that causes the itching but the poison they excrete when they drink blood from humans. What will happen if I or my children itch their mosquito bites? Scratching your mosquito bites will cause your skin to release a substance call histamine.
